Well, Spring time is Here!
The proof of it is right outside our house, in the flower bed.
We have some of the most beautiful flowers you can imagine coming out. Purples, Pinks, and Reds, literally overflowing the flower bed!
It got me thinking. Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (HCSB) – (1) There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven; (2) a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; (3) a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; (4) a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to morn and a time to dance; (5) a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing; (6) a time to search and a time to count as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away; (7) a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak; (8) a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.
Don’t you just wish your life just lived in perpetual spring time?
The fact is, we need all the seasons of life: the good with the bad.
Consider this: the Autumn and Winter of our lives prepares us for the Springtime. What is dead falls away; and then what is cold begins to warm up.
If you are struggling in life right now – cheer up. Because the Autumn and Winter of your life only proves that Springtime is coming!
You see, God is still God no matter what you are facing – with Autumn Winter, or Spring or Summer in your life.
You need those times when it seems as if all hope seems lost, so that you can find true hope in Jesus Christ.
Rejoice in your Autumns and your Winters – because it is almost Springtime!
And when God brings forth the Springtimes of your life, then step back and thank Him for the fruit that has been produced as you endured your Autumn and Winter.
Bloom in Him!!!
